The project is located on the uphill side of Bridgeway, generally below 254, 266 & 268 Woodward Ave. Work includes clearing and grubbing, scaling, drainage and excavation, installation of soil nails, mesh, and hydroseeding to hold the hillside in place. Bids must be submitted on the City's Bid Forms. Bidders are responsible for downloading, printing, and reviewing all Bid Documents, and verifying their completeness before submitting a bid. Any Addenda will be posted on the City's website, and it is each bidder's responsibility to check for updates. Each bid must be accompanied by a security deposit of not less than ten percent of the submitted Total Bid Price as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into a contract and provide the necessary bonds and insurance. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Faithful Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, each equal to one hundred percent of the Contract Price. All contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations and comply with CARB requirements. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder based on the base bid alone. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities in the bidding process.
