Furnish and install elevator safety enhancements across the University of Nevada, Reno campus in accordance with changes to the adopted Nevada Administrative Code (NAC) 455C.500. Special Considerations: Construction shall be coordinated in a manner that does not impact scheduled UNR Events. Contractor shall coordinate all work with UNR and provide an anticipated schedule prior to the start of work. Estimated Cost Range: $590,350 to $690,350 Liquidated Damages: $500/day *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Furnish and install elevator safety enhancements across the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) campus in accordance with changes to the adopted Nevada Administrative Code (NAC) 455C.500. Repairs to be performed include work associated with Provisions 2.7.5-restricted openings of hoistway doors-and provision 3.10.12-system to monitor and prevent automatic operation of the elevator with faulty door contact circuits. Please note that rope gripper / emergency brake installation is not part of the project scope. UNR has received state approved exemptions to complete this work at a later date.
