Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Frenchtown, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field.
Replacement of the existing pavilion concrete slab, surrounding sidewalk, and timber support columns including: site clearing, demolition, excavation and grading; construction of concrete slab, sidewalk, and support column footings; and site restoration within the Township of Kingwood, Hunterdon County, New Jersey. The work includes furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the work as shown on the drawings and described in the specifications. All awarded work must be completed within 30 calendar days of the contractor's receipt of written notice to proceed. Bidders must use the prepared bid form in the contract documents and submit each proposal in a sealed envelope addressed as specified, marked with the contract number and project name. No bids will be received after the specified time and date, and bids must be delivered by courier or hand. The bid must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check in an amount equal to 10% of the total bid, not exceeding $20,000.00, and a certificate of surety from an approved surety company. Each bidder must submit a signed certificate stating ownership, lease, or control of all necessary equipment, or provide documentation for leased equipment. Additional required forms include "Ownership Disclosure Statement" and "Non-Collusion Affidavit." Bidders must comply with all applicable Federal and State statutes and regulations, including the Civil Rights Act, affirmative action, ownership disclosure, public works contractor registration, and prevailing wage requirements. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive minor informalities or irregularities. Question Deadline 10/21/2025 No interpretation of the meaning of the plans, specifications or other Contract Documents will be made to any Bidder orally. Every request for such interpretation shall be made in writing, addressed to the Engineer and, to be given consideration, must be received at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the hour fixed for the opening of Bids
