Site work for a residential development in Fort Scott, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade residential development.
2025 CFP Sitework Improvements At Scattered Sites The work includes miscellaneous paving replacement, new parking, segmental CMU retaining walls, foundation waterproofing, sub-grade drainage, finish grading, fertilizing and seeding, and other items indicated on the plans and specifications. Bids are to include all necessary labor, materials and equipment. All bidders should try to attend the Pre-Bid Meeting and shall verify that they have inspected the existing site conditions prior to submitting their bid. The Owner is seeking sealed bids for misc. site improvements, new parking, sidewalk replacement, new concrete stairs, and other items as indicated on the plans and specifications. The work is being bid for the Fort Scott Housing Authority. The Contract will be awarded to the lowest qualified bidder as indicated in these contract documents. Location: Scattered Sites throughout Fort Scott, Kansas 66701 Base Bid Number 1 - General Construction: This is a lump sum bid for all work items indicated on the plans. The work consists of the following general items. 1. Provide replacement of concrete walks as indicated, replacement of retaining wall around playground at site K1, new paved parking areas, sub grade drainage, waterproofing work, and other items as indicated for ALL the work shown on the drawings. A. The adjacent dwelling units will be occupied during the construction. Contractors' shall restrict their use of the premises to areas indicated for the work. Provide the occupants with a minimum of 24 hours notice prior to commencing with any work within a unit. Notify all tenants, at a particular site, of the project schedule at least 7 days prior to commencing with work at that site. 1. The safety of the public should be considered at all times. The contractor shall take steps as necessary or as directed by the Owner to protect the public from all hazards associated with the construction. Completion-120 consecutive calendar days
