Cancellation Description Canceled to re-structure the Statement of Work and CLIN/Line-Items.. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to perform repair, replacement, and preventive maintenance services for hospital doors at the Charles George VA Medical Center. Services include inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electronic, and automatic doors; replacement of damaged or non-functional doors, frames, and hardware; preventive maintenance such as lubrication and adjustments; and compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and hospital infection control policies. Specific items to be serviced include hollow metal and wood doors (including fire-rated), architectural door hardware (locks, closers, panic devices, hinges), automatic sliding doors, activation and safety switches, electrified locking systems, and commercial locksmith services. Certified AAADM inspectors will conduct automatic door inspections, and federally recognized Fire Door Assembly Inspections (FDAI) will be performed by certified inspectors. Emergency repairs must be responded to within 4 hours, and routine services within 3 business days. All work must meet industry best practices and hospital standards, with detailed service reports required for each task.
