B. Description: The following items and all appurtenances shall be furnished: 1. Ultraviolet (UV) and Advanced Oxidation Process (AOP) Systems 2. Services of System Supplier or System Supplier's authorized representative C. Equipment Anchorage: The Contractor shall prepare and submit designs of the anchorages for the equipment as required in Section 01300, Submittals. The Contractor shall provide the detailed design of the anchor bolts and all embedded materials to adequately transfer the anchorage forces to a reinforced concrete foundation. The anchor bolts, embedments, and foundation shall be furnished and installed by others. The design of the anchorage shall be in accordance with Section 01640, Seismic and Wind Design of Equipment and Equipment Anchorage. D. Work Not Included: Installation will be performed by others. 1.02 DELIVERY A. Delivery of the articles and materials to be furnished under the contract shall be completed at a storage facility located within 300 miles of 24501 Figueroa Street, Carson, California 90710, on or before 430 calendar days after the receipt of the Notice to Proceed. B. If the Contractor wishes to deliver an item earlier than 60 days before the delivery date for that item, the Contractor shall request the Metroopolitan's written permission at least 2 weeks before the Contractor's desired delivery date C. Metropolitan may extend the delivery date up to 90 days after completion of fabrication. D. The manufacturer's representative shall be present each day of delivery to certify the delivery has been completed and equipment is present in accordance with Sections 01610, Delivery, Storage, and Handling, 46 01 00, Equipment General Provisions, 46 66 17, Ultraviolet Disinfection and Advanced Oxidation Process Systems, as applicable.
