Renovation of a transportation facility in Oxnard, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade transportation facility.
The project includes furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and other incidental and appurtenant work to design, fabricate, and install specified replacement signage incorporating the new name "John C. Zaragoza Oxnard Transit Center" at the Oxnard Transit Center located at 201 E. Fourth St, Oxnard, CA. Bidders must review additional detailed requirements provided before submitting a Bid Proposal. Bids must include the required bid security, and all contractors and subcontractors must comply with legal requirements including licensing, prevailing wage, and DIR registration. The successful bidder is required to provide performance and payment bonds each in the amount of 100% of the contract price and the performance bond must include a one-year warranty period. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive irregularities or informalities in bidding. Question Deadline 10/30/2025 Prospective Bidders desiring an explanation or interpretation of this solicitation, plans, specifications, etc., must request it in writing from the Public Works Department (by mail, email to lisa.shirley@oxnard.org, or personally delivered) at least five (5) Calendar Days before Bid opening, stating the Project Name and Specification number, in order to allow a reply to reach all prospective Bidders before the submission of their bids Inquiries regarding this Notice Inviting Bids may be directed to lisa.shirley@oxnard.org.
