Site work for a communication facility in Richland, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a communications tower.
The City of Richland, Washington is establishing the 2026 list of Electrical Utility Contractors for designation as a prequalified bidder for electrical utility work, which may include Electrical Distribution (2400V – 15,000V), Electrical Transmission (52,000V – 230,000V), Electrical Substation (2400V – 230,000V), and Secondary Electrical Systems (0V to 600V). These services will be for the calendar year 2026. All 2025 currently prequalified Contractors are required to renew their application for 2026 and will be notified by the City directly of the renewal process. Once the 2026 list is established no new applications will be accepted until October 2026. This is not a notice of bid, but will establish a list of contractors from which future projects may be performed. The 2026 prequalified list will be made available on the City of Richland, Purchasing Division website, in early January. Pre-qualification requirements: New application forms are available at the City of Richland website richlandwa.gov, under Current Bid Opportunities, RFI #2026 PreQual Electrical Application. All 2025 currently prequalified Contractors must renew their application for 2026.
