Renovation of an educational facility in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Question Deadline 11/10/2025 Bidders shall bring inadequacies, omissions or conflicts to the Architect/Engineers attention at least ten (10) days before MEP bidding commences. In general, the work consists of: replacing approximately 1000 lineal feet of underground steam and pumped condensate lines and four new steam pits. Steam and pumped condensate laterals to Champions Hall, Science Building, and CPS will be upgraded. Install approximately 1200 lineal feet of primary and signal duct bank along side existing duct bank distribution system. Extend existing underground chilled water distribution system for approximately 900 lineal feet, upgrade chilled water lateral to CPS. Base Bid will be received for: A single lump sum bid for All Work. Bid Guarantee in the amount of 10% of the Bid must accompany each bid submitted. The 2017-2019 Wisconsin State Budget (2017 Wisconsin Act 59) repealed Wisconsin's prevailing wage laws. Effective September 23, 2017, state prevailing wage requirements on state building projects no longer apply. These changes take effect for projects advertised for bid after September 23, 2017. This change does not affect the Federal Davis Bacon Act requirements.
