Online sealed bids for the Nether Providence Palmers Lane Drainage Improvements will be received online via the PennBid Program. All bid documents, construction plans, and specifications are available at no cost to prospective bidders. The successful bidder will be required to pay a PennBid Program fee of 1/3% of the contract award value, with a minimum of $150.00 and a maximum of $6,000.00. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of ten percent of the total bid, made payable to Nether Providence Township. Bidders must comply with requirements pertaining to prevailing wage rates, public works employment verification, insurance, equal opportunity and nondiscrimination/sexual harassment provisions, special provisions for Commonwealth contracts, PA Department of Environmental Protection rules, payment and performance bonds for 100% of the contract price, and a one-year maintenance bond for 10% of the contract price. Nether Providence Township reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, and to waive any information in the bidding as they deem in the best interest of the Township.
