Online sealed bids are requested for the 2026 Road Resurfacing Project. Major items to be performed include 28,340 square yards of milling, 2,520 square yards of base/trench repair, and 2,930 tons of wearing course. Bidders must submit a bid bond of ten percent (10%) of the total bid value, payable to Nether Providence Township. Requirements include compliance with PA Prevailing Wage Rates, various insurance provisions, Public Works Employment Verification, equal opportunity provisions, payment and performance bonds for 100% of the contract price, and a one-year maintenance bond for 10% of the contract price. Fees related to the PennBid program are to be paid by the successful bidder, and all fees and requirements associated with the bidding process must be confirmed.
