Site work and renovation of a civil project in Springfield, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Replacement of the MassMutual Center Ice Plant. A new refrigerant, CO2, will be used by the new packaged chiller skid equipment as part of this new work. Two chiller skid packages with integral equipment, 40% Ethylene glycol pumps, rooftop mounted evaporative condensers, condenser pumps, condenser holding tank, condenser water treatment, expansion tanks, 40% Ethylene glycol feeder skid, refrigerant monitoring system and associated equipment/accessories serving the ice plant will be demolished, removed, replaced as part of this new work. The existing electrical switchgear in the Mechanical Room will be demolished and upgraded. In addition, a new 100% water, 14 F Zamboni/Ice melt system will be installed. Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000.
