Request for Proposals (RFP) 26-058 for: Public Works Design/Engineering Services; Improvements to Jaime Ulloa Park. The City of Springfield ("City") is seeking proposals and invites all interested, qualified persons or firms capable of providing Public Works Design or Engineering services, to submit proposals for the project entitled; "Improvements to Jaime Ulloa Park", a Public Park in the City of Springfield, Massachusetts. The contract between the City and the Designer will include designer services through schematic design, design development, construction documents, bidding, award of constructions contract(s), construction administration, final closeout and warranty period of the potential Project. This Designer Selection is for Horizontal (Public Works) Construction, and is not subject to M.G.L. Ch. 7C44-57, but will rather follow a MGL Ch. 30B RFP model procurement to an extent as determined by the City. The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent (20%) minority and women (MWBE) participation in all contracts. All Proposals becomes the property of the City of Springfield. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to reject any and all proposals if it is in the best interest of the City to do so. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
