This project consists of replacing an existing gas chlorination system with a new liquid chlorination system at the Lake Havasu City Water Treatment Plant. The scope includes constructing a new air-conditioned masonry building to house the necessary equipment. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the Project Number and the bidder's name and address clearly indicated on the envelope. All bids must be completed in ink or typewritten on a form from the specifications and a complete Invitation for Bid must be returned with the offer by the time and date cited. Bidders may use the e-Bid and e-Bond process via the City's DemandStar Network. Those submitting e-Bids are required to scan and include their paper bid bond/cashier's check with the electronic submission, and the apparent low bidder must provide the original within three business days following the bid opening. Paper bids and bid bonds are also accepted.
