Demolition, site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Shreveport, Louisiana. Working plans call for the demolition of a one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field; one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field; and one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field.
**As of January 08, 2026, bids received were rejected. No definite date for the rebid.** The general scope of the project consists of demolition of the existing basketball court and the installation of a new concrete basketball court as shown on the Drawings and Specifications prepared by Tim Brandon Architecture. Bids shall be accepted only from contractors that attend the mandatory pre-bid conference. Bid security equal to five percent of the sum of the base bid and all alternates is required. The successful bidder shall furnish a Performance, Maintenance and Payment Bond. Bids shall be accepted from contractors who are appropriately licensed. Contractors have the option of submitting bids electronically or via physical delivery. The Parish of Caddo reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause and to waive any informalities and technicalities. Question Deadline 11/06/2025 Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Bid Documents shall make a written request to the Architect, to reach the Architect at least seven (7) days prior to the date for receipt of Bids.
