The project consists of the Reroofing of the existing 1924 Liberty Memorial Building, a three story structure with limestone exterior walls consisting of variety of roofing materials. a. Removal of multiple layers of roofing from the steep roof area. 1) Asphalt shingle top layer over wood recovery board. 2) Over a shingle or modified cap ply. 3) Over a smooth granulated built up roof over a wood recovery board. 4) A total thickness of approximately two and a half (2.5) inches over a concrete plank deck. 5) Installation of new adhered thermoplastic KEE roofing system. b. Removal of a built-up roof system over rigid insulation on the low flat roof area. 1) Removal and replacement of an area of wet insulation. 2) Installation of a single ply adhered membrane on the low flat roof area. c. Installation of a single ply membrane over an existing EPDM adhered roofing system on the upper flat roof area. d. Removal of existing and installation of new panel skylights. e. Installation of miscellaneous metal and roof accessories.
