Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Indio, California. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade educational facility; one-story above grade educational facility; and one-story above grade educational facility.

The project consists of installing 13 metal shade shelters at multiple schools. Material for each shelter must be loaded from the district office and delivered to each respective site. Footings and reinforced steel must be installed as shown on the drawings. Metal structures must be installed per drawings. Irrigation re-routing is required only in areas where turf is present and lines obstruct the footing locations. To bid on this project, the bidder must possess a valid Class "B" California contractor's license and be registered as a public works contractor with the Department of Industrial Relations. Bids must be submitted electronically using the forms provided by the District. A bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price must accompany the Bid Form and Proposal, with the original sent by mail on the day of bid opening. The successful bidder must provide a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond. All work is to be done in accordance with prevailing wage laws and is subject to labor compliance monitoring by the Department of Industrial Relations. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive responsible bidder based on the base bid amount only. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received. No bids may be withdrawn for ninety (90) days after the bid opening unless otherwise required by law. All bid submissions must comply with the Instructions to Bidders and all pertinent Contract Documents."
