Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in New Albany, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade clubhouse / community center.
The project consists of the HVAC unit replacement and improvements at Fairmont Neighborhood Center, located at 2525 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indian The Bidder Must File With Their Sealed Bid Proposal, a Certified Check or a Bid Bond in the Amount of Five (5) Percent of the Total Bid, Payable to the City of New Albany Redevelopment Commission. The Above Checks or Bonds Are to Ensure the Execution of the Contract on Which Such Bids Are Made. The Contractor to Whom the Work is Awarded Will Be Required to Furnish, Before Commencing Work, a Performance, and Payment Bond to Extend for a Period of One Year After Final Acceptance, in an Amount Equal to the Bid Price of the Contract Awarded to Said Contractor and Certificates of All Insurance as Described in the Contract Documents. The New Albany Redevelopment Commission Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids or to Waive Any Informalities or Minor Defects in the Bidding. Bidder's Attention is Called to the Fact That Contractors and Subcontractors Are Required to Pay Not Less Than the Wage Rates Established by the Davis Bacon and Related Acts as Indicated in the Contract Documents.
