The R.M. of Pleasant Valley No. 288, further known as the "the RM", will be proceeding with the excavation and stockpiling of 20,000 yards of gravel at SE 34-29-18 W3. The excavation is planned to occur in spring or fall of 2026. The RM is accepting sealed tenders for the excavation and stockpiling of gravel on SE 34-29- 18- W3M. The purpose of this tender is to excavate gravel from water and stockpile for drying before proceeding with crushing. The tender must include the following: o Contractor Legal Name & Address o Bid Amount for the Extraction & Stockpiling as specified above (Cost per Yard) o Tender Unit Price shall NOT include GST o Outline the equipment available to perform the work o Submit Onsite Safety Plan o Workers Compensation Board Letter of Good Standing o Liability Insurance (minimum of 2,000,000 liability per incident) o Three Business References o Project Timeline (Start Date) The RM of Pleasant Valley No. 288 reserves the right to reject any or all tenders, to waive defects in any bid or tender documents, to not necessarily award the lowest tender and to accept any tender which it may consider to be in the best interest of the municipality. Late tenders will not be accepted. Tenders received will be valid for (30) days from the date of the opening of the tender. The awarded contractor will be required to sign the Service Agreement. The contractor will have seven (7) days to return the executed agreement. If the contractor refuses or neglects to sign and return the contract within the seven days, the RM reserves the right to cancel the tender and award to the next considered bidder.
