The Union County Improvement Authority (UCIA) is soliciting bids for the Warinanco Park Baseball Field Improvements located in the Borough of Roselle, New Jersey. Bidders must be classified by the State of New Jersey, Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC) under classification code No. C008, No. C009, as well as meet other documentary requirements set forth in the instructions to bidders. This project is subject to a Project Labor Agreement (PLA). Bids must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bond of a surety authorized to do business in New Jersey in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount, not exceeding $20,000, and include a consent of surety stating that surety will provide the required bonds if awarded the contract. Bidders must submit one original and two copies of their bid in a sealed envelope, clearly marked with the project name, bidder's information, and bid opening date. Compliance with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 is required. The UCIA reserves the right to reject any bid deemed not responsible or for technical errors in accordance with the law.
