Project includes bike path crack profile grinding, pavement repairs, crack seal, slurry seal, pavement markings and related work. A. The work to be performed under this contract is at various locations throughout the City of Camarillo as shown on the location maps and the summary of quantities in the Appendix of these Specifications. B. The work to be performed includes but is not limited to: Furnishing all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to perform asphalt concrete point repairs, concrete curb & gutter, concrete spandrels, concrete cross gutters, herbicide spray, crack seal, chip seal (ARAM), slurry seal, adjust utilities, apply temporary traffic stripes and markings and permanent thermoplastic stripes and markings to City streets, perform traffic control and signage, and perform other related work as necessary to provide a complete project; all in accordance with the Standard Specifications, plans, and these Special Provisions. C. The City may, at its option elect to, suspend the project for an extended period time for convenience or weather. An example would be to suspend the project for the winter and restart in spring when the weather is better. In the event the project is suspended for an extended time period as described in this section, the remobilize bid item will be directed to be used by the Engineer. This item will only be used at the direction of the Engineer. The Engineer will issue written direction. Contractor must remobilize and restart work within 15 working days of notification to restart work.
