Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in El Dorado, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The purpose of this project is to replace Br. 56.727 (Prairie Creek) on I-35 in Butler County. Work includes bridge rehabilitation, grading and surfacing, and all other work shown in the plans. QA Deadline Deadline11/06/2025 06:00 PM EST Bids will only be accepted by Contractors that are pre-qualified by the Kansas Department of Transportation. Proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of bid and made payable to the Kansas Turnpike Authority as guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and give a performance bond as required if awarded the contract. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularity therein, to determine which is the lowest responsible bid most suitable to the Authority. 1) Project Description: Replacement of the Prairie Creek Road bridge over the KTA, activities include grading, full depth concrete construction, curb and gutter, pavement marking and signing, signing and storm sewer
