Site work for a civil project in El Dorado, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
East River Road Lift Station and Force Main Replacement A proposal guarantee equal to 10 percent of the bid must accompany each proposal. The successful bidder will be required to furnish performance, statutory and a year maintenance bond for 100 percent of the contract price. The successful bidder will be required to furnish, within 15 days of the Contract Award, his proposed starting date for this project. A limited notice to proceed (NTP) to allow the contractor to procure materials can be issued within 10 calendar days of the date on which the contract has been awarded. The successful bidder may begin procurement of materials and request payment for stored materials in accordance with Section 11. The work order NTP to allow construction to commence, shall be issued no later than 75 calendar days after the date on which the contract has been awarded to the successful bidder pending receipt of necessary permits. Following receipt of the work or!der NTP, the work on this project shall be fully complete within 120 working days. Bidders must agree to pay, as liquidated damages, the sum of $400.00 for each working day used over the above stated conditions unless otherwise provided in writing. The City Commission reserves the right of rejecting any and all proposals for any reason. On award of contract, Certificate of Insurance, Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond, Kansas Statutory Bond will be required in an amount of 100% of the contract amount.
