The Liberty Township Supervisors are accepting sealed equipment and operator bids on a bid rate per hour, for equipment and operator, for snow removal and salting, snow removal without salting, and salting only for specified areas within Liberty Township, Bedford County, Pennsylvania. Bidders must submit a bid price per hour for each piece of equipment and each operator, using a minimum 8' plow. Proof of commercial liability insurance with limits of no less than $1,000,000 per occurrence, as well as specified motor vehicle insurance, must accompany each bid, with the Township named as an additional insured. The successful bidder must be available on short notice with an emergency response time within two hours. The Township will provide material or aggregate for use in connection with the services. Awarded bids cannot be transferred and will be formalized in a written contract between the successful bidder and the Township. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
