Remodeling of a municipal facility in Kingsport, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the remodel of a one-story above grade municipal facility.
Sealed bids are solicited for the Kingsport Justice Center Voice & Data Cabling, Cabling Systems, and Security Cameras project. Bidders can obtain documents from the City Engineer's office for a $50.00 fee, and may review documents at several specified locations. A bid bond or certified check equal to 5% of the bid is required, and successful bidders must provide Performance and Payment Bonds for 100% of the contract price. All bidders must hold proper contractor licenses per the Contractors Licensing Act of 1994, and bid envelopes must list relevant license numbers, expiration dates, and applicable classifications, including subcontractor information if applicable. Bids must remain valid for 60 days after submission. All bids must be signed, sealed, and addressed to the Procurement Manager, City of Kingsport, and clearly marked for the project. Bidders certify compliance with Civil Rights Act regulations. The City reserves the right to accept or reject bids, waive informalities, and re-advertise as needed. Minority and Women-Owned contractors are encouraged to participate.
