Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field; one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field; one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field; one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field; one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field; and one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field.

The City is requesting proposals for the interior and exterior renovations of two public restrooms at Washington Park--one centrally located within the Park, the other on Park Avenue. The project also includes exterior siding for two additional buildings and the replacement of shingled roofs on three buildings and six pavilions located within the Park at 155 Meridian Street, Groton, Connecticut. The Contractor will work with the Parks & Recreation Director for approval of exact color selections for all painting, siding, and roofing materials. The scope of work includes providing all materials and labor for tasks such as removing and repairing rotted woodwork, preparing and installing decorative trim work and vinyl inlay, painting trim and soffits, removing existing roof shingles and installing new roofing, installing new gutter downspouts, and replacing exterior doors with commercial grade fiberglass or aluminum doors equipped with a keypad entry system and all necessary hardware.
