Sealed bids will be received for renovations to MacArthur School located at 640 East 168th Place, South Holland, Illinois. The bids will be for the following packages: Asbestos Abatement, Masonry, Carpentry and General Construction, Roofing, Aluminum Windows, Flooring, Painting, Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, and Low Voltage. Bidding documents, including drawings and specifications, are available electronically via the Architect's Procore site. The Architect may refuse to issue plans and specifications to any person, firm, or corporation considered to be unqualified. Proposals must be submitted on the provided forms and accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check payable to ECHO Joint Agreement in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the proposal amount. Bidders must comply with prevailing wage rates and applicable state laws. The successful bidder will be required to file a performance and payment bond equal to 100% of the contract and provide insurance or guaranty of indemnity against any claims for damages during the construction. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or bids. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the scheduled time of closing bids without the consent of the Owner.
