Site work and new construction of a detention facility in Nampa, Idaho. Completed plans call for the construction of a 2,400-square-foot, one-story above grade detention facility.
The work for this project consists of constructing a 2,400 square foot single-story building of type V-B construction, measuring 60' x 40', with wood framing, slab on grade, pitched roof with wood trusses, and asphalt shingles. The building will include training spaces, offices, restrooms, a mechanical room, and storage, along with associated site improvements. Bidders must provide a bid bond equal to 5% of the total bid amount, including any add alternates, and possess a Public Works Contractor's License for the State of Idaho to be eligible to submit a proposal. Only licensed general contractors and licensed mechanical and electrical subcontractors may obtain one set of documents from the Design Professional for a refundable deposit. Others may obtain documents at cost, non-refundable.
