Fred Meijer Flat River Trail Repairs The Scope of Work for the FRED MEIJER FLAT RIVER TRAIL REPAIRS PROJECT includes providing all materials, labor and equipment needed to adjust 3 boardwalk posts to level decking that has become out-of-alignment. The work will include temporary support of the deck in the current alignment while shims are placed and secured with a bolted mending plate. The amount of adjustment required is approximately 7-8 inches in the center of the sag. A drawing showing the repair is shown at the end of these specifications. Table 1 shows other required work according to locations shown on the Location Map and associated photos. The bulk of the work involves replacement of 1-1/2 inch diameter rail sections. Miscellaneous work includes patching holes in deck boards and replacing detectable warning plates All questions from BIDDERS, regarding any part of the Project Manual, shall be directed in writing to: Doug Hinken, P.E., City Engineer City of Greenville 411 S.
