Demolition, site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Greenville, Michigan. Completed plans call for the demolition of a one-story above grade sidewalk / parking lot; one-story above grade water / sewer project; and one-story above grade road / highway.
The project consists of the removal and replacement of approximately 0.39 miles of existing road within the same footprint. Work items include the installation of 1,972 feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer with 8 precast concrete manholes and castings; 451 feet of 12-inch Cl A storm sewer with 5 precast concrete manholes and covers; 2,066 feet of 8-inch ductile iron water main, 3 fire hydrants, 12 valves and associated fittings; replacement of 43 water service lines; 3,668 feet of concrete curb and gutter; 526 square yards of driveway; 1,336 square feet of concrete sidewalk; 5,556 square yards of aggregate base; 916 tons of HMA surfacing; and 0.5 acres of restoration. The project also includes traffic control devices. Bids will be received at the office of the City Clerk.
