Renovations at Franke Park. Each bid proposal shall include all labor, material and services necessary to complete the projects in strict accordance with the drawings and specifications as prepared and on file at The Moake Park Group, Inc. Bids shall be received from a single prime contractor. Plans, specifications, instructions to bidders, and bid forms are on file and available at Eastern Engineering's Virtual Planroom or at the office of Eastern Engineering. Only complete sets of plans and specifications will be distributed. Unlocked electronic PDF sets of drawings will be available for an additional cost. Any unsuccessful bidder, upon returning such sets in good and usable condition within ten days of the bid date, will be refunded their deposit. There will be shipping and handling charges for the delivery of each set of Bidding Documents. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, a cashier's check, or a bid bond executed by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Indiana, made payable to the Fort Wayne Community Schools and in an amount equal to five percent of the bid. In the event a bidder withdraws its bid or fails to execute a satisfactory contract within ten days after the contract is awarded, the check or bond may be forfeited as liquidated damages. A bid may not be modified, withdrawn or cancelled for sixty days following the designated time and date for receipt of bids without the consent of Fort Wayne Community Schools. Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds in an amount equal to 100% of the contract amount shall be required to be provided by the successful bidder no later than ten days after contract execution and shall remain in force for twelve months after Substantial Completion. Fort Wayne Community Schools reserves the right to reject any and all bids or waive any or all informalities, irregularities and/or inconsistencies in any or all bids.
