Site work for a water / sewer project in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The project includes the labor, materials, and equipment necessary to extend the existing sanitary sewer line along Route 21, east of Progress Drive, including approximately 1,350 linear feet of 8-inch SDR-35 sanitary sewer line, seven 48-inch diameter manholes, aggregate backfill, rock excavation, asphalt pavement restoration, traffic control, surveying, and restoration. An add alternate bid for 132 linear feet of 8-inch SDR-35 sanitary sewer pipe, 132 linear feet of boring, one sanitary manhole, and related work is also included. Proposals must be on the forms furnished by the county engineer. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent of the bid price. Awarded bidder shall provide a performance bond for 100%, a payment bond for 100%, and a maintenance bond for 15% of the project. Liquidated damages will apply at the rate of $500.00 per calendar day. The attention of bidders is called to the requirements concerning the payment of not less than the prevailing wage and salary rate provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act 442.
