Demolition, site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Hadley, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade bridge / tunnel.
The project consists of the removal of the existing bridge, excavating, filling and regrading the roadway, installation of a new precast concrete structure, and incidental work. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check on a solvent bank or a bid bond in an amount not less than 10 percent of the bid total, payable to the owner in accordance with instructions. Bidders are required to comply with all relevant laws and regulations, including Pennsylvania wage laws, steel procurement, Clean Air and Water Acts, Prevailing Wage Act, Energy Policy and Conservation Act, Equal Employment Opportunity Executive Orders, restrictions on lobbying, and the Endangered Species Act. Contractors must furnish records to ascertain compliance with the nondiscrimination clause. The owner reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, or omissions and to reject any or all bids. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of bids may not be answered.
