West Virginia University on behalf of its Board of Governors ("BOG") located in Morgantown, West Virginia ("WVU" or "University") is initiating this Request for Proposals ("RFP") from qualified, experienced, and licensed Contractors to renovate the third floor of the Administration ("ADM") building located at the West Virginia University Innovation Corporation ("WVUIC") in Morgantown, WV. The renovation, which is approximately 10,300 square feet, will serve as operations lead for the WVU School of Medicine Cancer Prevention & Control team. Question Deadline 11/18/2025 at 12:00 PM ET Questions MUST be submitted directly on the solicitation website. The Contractor shall achieve Substantial and Final Completion of the entire Work as calculated or indicated below. The date of issuance of the West Virginia University's Notice to Proceed and/or Contact shall be used to calculate Substantial and Final Completion. a. Substantial Completion shall be: February 27, 2026 b. Final Completion shall be: March 6, 2026 c. Final Completion shall be when project site is de-mobilized and all project documents listed in Close-Out section of the specifications has been sent to the Owner. Liquidated Damages 1. The Contractor shall achieve Substantial and Final Completion of the entire Work as calculated or indicated above. The date of issuance of the West Virginia University's Notice to Proceed or Executed Agreement shall be used to calculate Substantial and Final Completion of contract time stated in number of consecutive calendar days or established date. Time is of the essence. a. Liquidated Damages shall be Five Hundred Dollars ($500) per Calendar Day of delay in achieving Substantial Completion and Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($250) per Calendar Day of delay in achieving Final Completion
