Description

Renovation of an educational facility in Newport News, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The project is generally described as the replacement offour Computer Room Air Conditioners (CRAC) and modular glycol chiller that condition the UPS room and Data Center at Ratcliffe Hall. The new CRAC units will be connected to the CNU Chilled Water Plant loop and the modular chiller will be replaced to serve as a backup source of chilled water for these units. The project also includes the demolition of a packaged direct-expansion Air Handler located outdoors beside the Data Center. A Bid Bond IS required.
