Site work for a water / sewer project in Newport News, Virginia. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Provide labor, materials, and equipment to perform design-bid-build maintenance construction at the Dredge Material Management Area at Fort Eustis. The work includes regrading and raising the disposal site berms to an elevation of 36 feet, correcting areas that have settled below elevation 34 feet, along approximately 1.5 miles of berm circumference. The project also includes relocating two existing spill boxes approximately 50 to 60 feet from their current locations into the disposal site and regrading the existing dirt and stone access ramp to meet the new top-of-berm elevation. All material required for construction will be sourced from within the disposal site. Work shall be performed under a firm-fixed-price contract in accordance with FAR Part 14 requirements. Disclosure of the magnitude of construction project cost: Between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
