Site work and new construction of a communication facility in Omaha, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade communication facility.
Sealed proposals will be received for furnishing all labor, tools, materials, and equipment required to construct a Civil Defense Siren for Sanitary and Improvement District No. 634, Douglas County, Nebraska, as per the plans and specifications and at the locations shown on the detailed drawings and in the specifications. The work consists essentially of the following estimated quantities: DC electromechanical 46 V DC type 128 dB minimum (1 EA), DC control cabinet with battery cab (1 EA), batteries (4 EA), radio control (1 EA), antenna (1 EA), AC option transformer and AC equipment in a separate cabinet (1 EA), galvanized steel pole (1 EA), siren installation (1 EA), URD service (50 LF), and solar power system (1 LS). All proposals must be submitted on bid forms furnished by Lamp Rynearson and accompanied by a bid bond or certified check of at least $1,900.00. Proposals must be enclosed in an envelope, sealed and addressed as specified, with bid security in a separate sealed envelope attached to the proposal envelope. The work will be contracted under written agreement with the lowest responsible bidder who complies with the requirements of the plans, specifications, and applicable law.
