Renovation of a multi-residential development in Omaha, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade multi-residential development.
Bids are invited for the lead hazard control of dwelling units at 4106 Corby Street and 2425 Templeton Street. Sealed bids, addressed to the Rehabilitation Division, Room 1111, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center, marked "Bid on LEAD HAZARD CONTROL OF DWELLING UNIT," including the address and job number, must be received on or before the closing date at 3:00 P.M. Bids will be publicly opened and read at that time in Room 1111, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center. Not less than the minimum salaries and wages as specified by the U.S. Secretary of Labor must be paid. The contractor must ensure non-discrimination in employment based on race, color, creed, sex, or national origin. Bidders must file a certificate of insurance evidencing comprehensive public liability insurance coverage of not less than $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate, and show evidence of workman's compensation insurance prior to receipt of the order to proceed. The owner reserves the right to accept, reject, or negotiate any or all bids in whole or in part.
