As of June 1, 2026, a construction manager at risk and a design firm have been selected for this project. A timeline for construction has not yet been established. *Previous solicitation listed below for reference:* Architects licensed by the State of Florida are invited to submit proposals to provide professional design services for the Transportation North - Modernization project at 7061 Garden Road, Riviera Beach, FL. The School Board of Palm Beach County, Florida reserves the right to waive minor technicalities in any proposal. Proposals must be submitted through BidNet Direct. The Architect and Consultants shall provide all necessary professional services to develop approved Design and Contract Documents within the established Construction Budget and according to the approved Design Schedule. The project shall include comprehensive site planning for an approximately 13-acre campus, which shall house a new transportation operations facility for school bus fleet maintenance, supported by a surface parking lot capable of accommodating approximately 225 buses. The project will also include a new administrative building with offices, dispatch areas, meeting and training rooms, and other support spaces, as well as a parking facility for staff and drivers. Additional elements will include fueling islands with bus wash facilities and the installation of charging stations to support an electric bus fleet.
