Site work for a civil project in Golden, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project; and one-story above grade bridge / tunnel.
The City of Golden is seeking proposals for CM/GC services for the Lena Gulch Channel Improvement Project, specifically for Reaches 1 and 4. The improvements are intended to address undersized and aging infrastructure, mitigate flood impacts to US Highway 40 (Colfax), and remove areas from the floodplain. The scope covers Reach 1, extending from just south of the southern access to the Martin Marietta quarry to just south of the southern access to Heritage Square, involving approximately 2,600 linear feet of channel and two culverts under the quarry accesses. Reach 4 spans from just upstream of Zeta Street to approximately Violet Street, where all culverts are known to be undersized for the 100-year event. Grant funding obligations and schedule specifics are defined in the Scope of Services.
