RECYCLING CENTER HVAC UPGRADES PROJECT, 40 POLHEMUS LANE, BRIDGEWATER, NJ 08807 CONTRACT NO. 22010. Bids shall be delivered in sealed envelopes and addressed to Melissa A. Kosensky, Purchasing Agent, County Administration Building, Purchasing – 3rd Floor, 20 Grove Street, Somerville, New Jersey 08876, clearly marked on the outside with the contract name and number, bearing the name and address of the bidder on the outside. The bid opening will be conducted via Live-Stream from the County Commissioner’s Meeting Room. During the bid opening process, the bidders will be announced as will bid amounts. A bid review providing unit prices will not take place at the openings. Instead, this information will be posted to the Purchasing webpage once available. Instructions for downloading Specifications and Plans/Drawings from the County’s website can be obtained by contacting the Purchasing Division at PurchasingDiv@somersetcountynj.gov. Release of all Plans/Drawings requires receipt of a form of identification from the requesting individual and Company information. A hard copy of the contract documents can be requested through the Engineering Office at EngineeringDiv@somersetcountynj.gov for a non-refundable fee of $75.00 payable to the Somerset County Treasurer. A pre-bid conference will be held at the project site. Attendance by all prospective bidders and their subcontractors and suppliers is not mandatory. Bidder shall submit with the bid a certified check, cashier’s check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total price bid, but not in excess of $20,000.00, payable unconditionally to Somerset County Treasurer, along with a Certificate (Consent of Surety) with Power of Attorney for full amount of bid price from a Surety Company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey and that said Surety will furnish a Performance and Payment Bond in amounts of 100% of successful bidder’s contract. All Bid Addenda will be issued on the County website, and it is the sole responsibility of the respondent to be knowledgeable of all addenda related to this procurement.
