Sealed bids will be received for Classroom Renovations at Eisenhower Intermediate School under an Overall Single Prime contract (all of the work). Bidders are instructed to submit one original and one copy of the bid in a sealed envelope, labeled accordingly. Bid documents must be procured through the Solutions Architecture website, with registration required to ensure proper distribution of addenda and clarifications. Bidding documents can be purchased for a non-refundable fee, and bidders handling their own shipping must provide a FedEx account number if applicable. A pre-bid conference will be held for the purpose of reviewing project scope and clarifications, with attendance strongly recommended. All technical questions and inquiries must be submitted through the BidBox portal; questions sent by email will not receive a response and must be submitted by the specified deadline. Bids must be made using the Forms of Proposal provided and accompanied by bid security as outlined in Instructions to Bidders. A Certificate of Consent of Surety must also be included, confirming provision of performance/payment bonds. No bid may be withdrawn within 60 days of opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject or waive informalities in bids. Bidders must adhere to requirements for employment and wage rates, public works contractor registration, non-discrimination, affirmative action, and proper business registration and prequalification in specific categories as outlined. Bidding must comply with applicable Public School Contracts Law.
