Demolition, site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Ankeny, Iowa. Completed plans call for the demolition of a one-story above grade bridge / tunnel.
The work includes all materials, equipment, transportation, and labor necessary to complete the improvements. The proposed project includes 1,156 cubic yards of Class 10 excavation, 77 square yards of 6-inch Portland Cement Concrete pavement for shared use path, 115 square yards of special subgrade preparation for shared use path, 1.9 stations of shoulder finishing for shared use path, 20 tons of Class A stone for granular shouldering, 18 square yards of reinforced bridge approach pavement, traffic control, erosion control, surface restoration, a 150-foot by 10-foot pre-engineered steel truss trail bridge, and other miscellaneous work.
