Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts. Conceptual plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The Town of Shrewsbury is seeking a qualified Owner’s Project Manager (OPM) for a drinking water treatment facility project involving the construction of a 6.0 million gallon per day PFAS water treatment plant at the site of the existing Home Farm Water Treatment Plant. The OPM is required for the construction and post-construction phases and must begin work immediately. OPM duties include: reviewing the time schedule, reviewing change orders and payment requisitions prepared by the Design Engineer, attending meetings, providing general advice to the Town, and assisting in project evaluation including a written evaluation of contractors’ and subcontractors’ performance after project closeout. Applicants must include either a person registered in Massachusetts as an architect or professional engineer with at least five years’ experience in construction and supervision of water treatment facilities, or a person with at least seven years’ experience in those areas if not registered. Fees will be negotiated with the successful applicant. Sealed Qualification Proposals must be submitted in accordance with provided instructions and clearly marked with the project name and applicant information.
