Site work for a water / sewer project in Arlington, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The project consists of approximately 1185 linear feet of 6-inch HDPE directional bored water main installation, 1698 linear feet of 6-inch C900 water main installation, 55 linear feet of 10-inch steel casing jack and bore under a highway, installation of valves, fire hydrants, pavement patches, and related erosion and sediment control. The time of performance is 180 days, and payment for the work will be made monthly based on construction progress. Instructions to bidders: The Instructions to Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Agreement, Specifications, and Forms of Bid Bond, Performance Bond, and other contract documents may be examined as indicated. Copies may be obtained upon payment, with no refunds for the documents. The agreement is subject to the Build America, Buy America Act requirements, and all iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials must be produced in the United States unless a waiver is granted. The City may reject any or all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional bids. Bid security of at least five percent (5%) of the bid must be deposited. All bids will remain subject to acceptance for 60 days after the actual date of opening. Section 3 Residents and Business Concerns are encouraged to apply.
