Renovation of a mixed-use development in Amherst, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade clubhouse / community center.
Work consists of the Harlem Road Community Center Auditorium Renovation, for which two separate Prime Contracts will be awarded: General and Electrical. Bidders are required to submit sealed bids by mail or in person, with four (4) copies enclosed in an opaque sealed envelope marked with the bidder's name, address, project name, bid date, and contract name and project number. Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend the scheduled pre-bid walkthrough at the project site. Bid documents can be obtained via email or through The Construction Exchange of Buffalo & WNY. Prospective bidders must register by email to receive Addenda. All questions must be submitted in writing to the designated architect, with responses issued only via official addenda. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bond equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid amount, as security to ensure execution of a contract and performance bond if awarded. Failure to execute the contract or provide required security within fifteen (15) days of acceptance will result in forfeiture of the bid security. The right is reserved to waive informalities or reject any and all bids.
