Renovation of a mixed-use development in Petoskey, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility; and one-story above grade educational facility.
Sealed bids, in triplicate, for the Public Schools of Petoskey, High School, Lincoln Elementary, Central Elementary, will be received until the stated deadline at the Petoskey Administration Building. Bids must comply with formal submission guidelines and late, faxed, emailed, or uploaded bids will not be considered. All proposals will be opened and read publicly at the specified location and time. A construction pre-bid meeting and site inspections will begin at Lincoln Elementary before moving to Central Elementary and the High School. Attendance is encouraged for all bidders. Bidding documents are available for examination through specified online and plan room locations. Bidders must be reputable, recognized organizations with a minimum of five years of successful, relevant experience, proper licensing, and ample financial resources for the project scope. Each bid must be accompanied by a sworn and notarized Familial Disclosure Statement and a bid security or bond for at least 5% of the bid amount from an A- or better rated surety or via certified check. The successful bidder must provide performance, labor, and material bonds for all contracts over $50,000 from an A- or better rated surety company. Bid securities are held until the "hold-firm" date or contract execution, whichever is first.
