Site work for a water / sewer project in Port Arthur, Texas. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Jefferson County Drainage District No 7 (the District) is requesting statements of qualifications (SOQ) from all qualified, interested engineering consultants desiring to provide consultant services to the District. Firms are encouraged to submit statements of qualifications and experience to the District to be used on a recovery project as a result of damage from Tropical Storm Imelda. The project will be funded through the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)'s Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP). The general scope of work for the project is provided in APPENDICES. Engineering services will be necessary for study and design acquisition. Construction phase services will not be a part of this project. A single contract may be awarded as a result of this solicitation. These consulting services shall be performed in accordance with all local, State, and Federal laws, regulations, and executive orders applicable to this grant program. The District plans to hire a Professional Engineering Firm to provide and perform services which are outlined below. The scope services shall include all services normally required for the approval by FEMA and the Texas Department of Emergency Management (TDEM) of the Phase 1 of an HMGP project.
