The Port of Port Arthur hasbeen awarded a grant from theU.S. Department of Transportation Maritime Administration("MARAD") for the Project, consisting of the construction of a2.6-acre paved laydown area,including demolition, site grading and stabilization, drainage,electrical, lighting, and fencing.The Port of Port Arthur is seeking to contract with a qualifiedengineering firm, licensed inthe state of Texas, to prepareall preliminary and final designplans, specifications, bid, andconstruction documents and toconduct all necessary interimand final inspections. Theseservices shall be performed inaccordance with all local, State,and Federal laws, regulations,and executive orders applicableto this grant program. The Port of Port Arthur reservesthe right to reject any and allQualification Statements andwaive any formalities. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
