Production Well (PW-04) for the Dunn Valley Water Campus The work includes the drilling of a new production well at the Dunn Valley Water Campus, installation of well casing and fittings, installation of well pump and appurtenances, installation of piping to the connection point at the well building, and installation of a pitless adapter. Sealed bids, one original and two copies, must be submitted by mail, in-person or electronically. A certified check or bank draft payable to the order of OWNER, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total of the bid, must be submitted with each bid. The bidder must include the fully completed Non-Collusion Affidavit with the bid. The project requires compliance with Equal Employment requirements, specific minority and female participation goals, and federal mandates related to MBE/WBE and Section 3 business concerns. The contractor must also adhere to the Buy America, Build America Act and Davis-Bacon and Related Acts. Documentation showing solicitations and commitments to minority and women business enterprises and Section 3 business concerns must be submitted with the bid. The contractor shall strive to meet the MBE goal of 5% and WBE goal of 3% for contracts of $25,000 or more, and applicable Section 3 workforce requirements for certain federally funded projects. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities, or negotiate contract amounts. Bids may be held by the owner for up to 60 days from the date of opening for review and qualification purposes. The McAlisterville Area Joint Authority will receive bids for the PRODUCTION WELL (PW-04), for the Dunn Valley Water Campus.
